Account Supervisor or Manager
Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Supervisor/Manager to join our team. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL), supervising junior team members, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies, coordinating with auditors and tax agents, supporting budgeting and forecasting, managing inter company reconciliations, and driving improvements in accounting processes
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory role

Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards

Proficient in accounting software, such as SQL Accounting Software, and Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Accounting/Audit Firm background is preferred

ACCA/CIMA membership will provide additional advantage

Mandatory Scopes & Responsibility

Prefer Mandarin Speaker to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
Responsibilities

Monitor and review day-to-day accounting transactions (AP, AR, GL, etc.)

Oversee the performance and workload of junior

Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies

Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations
